Now here's something you don't see every day -- a tuna boat under sail.
"This boat belongs to Eric now," says Kathy Fosmark, "but Dad used a sail to save fuel. It got really dirty from the exhaust pipe nearby. The sail maker was in Morro Bay next door to Gianinni's store. I went there a few times to have it repaired. It was great for slow days when it wasn't blowing like hell -- good in fair weather mostly. But if it was designed with cut-out wind panels, it could have more capacity. Dad liked to experiment."
